keeps crashing on my bro's pc, gets to 5 dec 2008 (maybe 2009 cant remember) then crashes, is it possible to install a different scene release and transfer the saved game from the dogdy version to continue as normal?

Yer im pretty sure you can do that. Just when you uninstall the game dont delete saved game files!
