d2sun only boots some of my backups but..

hi there

ive 2 wii's one with d2pro and one with d2sun both of which are installed with wii clips. the problem i have is that the all my backups work on the d2pro but only some on the d2sun.

am i doing somehing wrong on the d2sun

any ideas

ive no idea about the D2sun but you could try swapping the chips over and seeing if the problenmm is the same, it could be that one wii has a more worn laser and is a bit more fussy about disks. Are you using decent media burnt at a slow speed?

Its almost certainly going to be media/laser related, assuming both Wii's have the same firmware.

If the D2Sun Wii has firmware 3.3, and the D2pro firmware prior to that, it could be that some of your disks are trucha signed, which that firmware knocked out.

Another possibility is region free settings on the chips ?
