gamehelp fixing non-xtreme backups to work with new firmwares

not sure if this is possible but ive got a friend badgering me for info.

He's bought round an old copy of Fight Night Round 3 which doesnt work on his new 360 but works fine on an older machine that hasnt been updates since the early days. If I image the disk is there some way of patching it so it will boot?

cheers inspecta. ill probably getthat cos the patching prog doest seem to like this copy very much, endless errors keep popping up so its probably not worth wasting a disk on it.

Can anyone help me I have just D/L Battlefield 2 Modern Combat for my son and the iso is not ixtreme patched I have loaded the iso into Mulleter 10.2 and the first thing it says is"video file broker, invalid or not present. Would you like to fix" so I clicked yes then get "video inserted successfully" then I get "PFi is broke do you want it fixed" so I clicked yes and I am left with this (see image). Now how do I fix the iXtreme and DMI.

I did try going into CRC checking and selecting Auto fix but when I came to burn the image ImgBurn did'nt like it and the layer info was wrong.

Click on CRC Checking in Mulleter and do Autofix. Will sort that out for you.

Also if you want to image an already burnt disc, make sure you use imgburn to make the image.

I have all ready tried that and it did not work. ImgBurn would not burn the image.

Click YES to fix the image. Then reload the image back in mulleter and check it again. It WILL fix it for you. Make sure your connected to the net when you check the img.

If mulleter is refusing to fix it then I'd say you have a bad copy. I don't think any of the bad company releases had this kind of problem, although I think they did fail the kreon check. So I'd say it was a bit suspect anyway. Down another copy m8 or youre gonna risk being detected on live as well if you don't
You see, TheThingIs, eventually you'll be all right!

Right Mulleter did fixed it but imgburn wasn't keen on burning the image when using the .dvd file so I had to set the Layer Break in the settings and then burn the .iso file.

    Thanks you AD
