FUN-LOVING football legend Paul Gascoigne is “dead”, his TV star stepdaughter Bianca revealed last night.




She said the wisecracking prankster loved by millions is gone for good because of the demons tormenting his mind.


Telly star and model Bianca Gascoigne, 21, says her stepdad will never again be the prankster who won the hearts of fans all over the world.


The former England star is seriously ill with depression, and Bianca admits his family is powerless to help him.

*EDIT* Been trying to find out more online, and his Wikipedia page now has Paul John Gascoigne (27 May 1967 - 24th September 2008 in Dunston, Gateshead, England[1]), as the first line, now this is Wikipedia so could just be someone else who has received these txt's but its not looking good


*EDT 2* Ok the wikipedia page has been changed back to normal so it could be BS after all, but then again Wikipedia is as reliable as a grannies knitting meet

I've heard a few as well, probably the same as you. Being from round Newcastle this gets around quick.

Funny thing is i was in Dunston at the Costco warehouse this evening. Forst time i have been in dunston in years (not really a nice place IMO) and when we passed a pub my mate said, that's where gazza gets goes to drink his life away.

but with gazza as far as i concerned him like ever other star/in the public eye abuse the whole situation turn to drink/drugs etc. shouldnt be in the public eye at all. how do we expect our kids to learn???

Gazza is no way right in the public eye of children. No one is making him out to be a good 'role model' apart from the young 20 year olds 8 years ago maybe (thats a joke by the way)

I have a young child and why would my child even take an interest in gazza or Paul Merton for that sake. They look to someone they can relate to and an alcoholic pissing it up for that past 7/8 years aint gonna grab their attention.

Role models start on the pitch, the likes of Ronaldo, Beckham etc.... Once they leave the pitch they are in the interest of the media's eye (lets say the tabloids eye) for our sake of reading an interesting story on them that takes us through the day.

Gazza role model to our kid these days? NO

Role model in the 90's playing for England, Newcastle, Tottenham, Lazio? Yes
