Which Camcorder for less than £200 ?

My parents have asked me to find them a decent Cam for under £200. I really have no idea what I'm looking at. Its gonna be used at the odd wedding but mostly for holidays so not too bulky. Any idea's or suggestions ?

My budget is now £250. Anybody got any other suggestions ?

the question i would be asking myself is who's going to be editing the video ?

if you don't know then go for a dvd based camcorder
tape and hd based camcorders will need some form of editing where as we know dvd can be shown more or less anywhere without doing anything
