Info Apple finally showing muscle against the "app crackers"

The two popular cracked app spots known mostly as "the place to get it and get out" (No forums, just cracked apps for miles) have fallen to Apple's retaliation against app crackers.

One spot which has a similar name to "mobile apps" and another that is similar to "blog spot" were the largest sharing sites for Apple's App store apps that were cracked. The one similar to "mobile apps" fell last week while the one similar to "blog spot" fell early this morning.

The two large cracked app spots are the first "big" spots to show Apple's retaliation to cracked apps. While the one similar to "mobile apps" was completely stripped from the server, the one similar to "blog spot" simply had it's app database removed this morning, and I'd bet you will see the site itself fall very shortly. I believe we are just ahead of the tidal wave looking back at it.

As Apple continues it's fight to keep the iPhone under their financial control, the war between users and Apple has seemed to spark almost a challenge for users to beat Apple at their own game. Crackers after all are not thieves, they are hackers. They do it for the thrill. Sort of like jailbreakers are, but they cross the lines of legality whereas jailbreakers are just hacking the firmware for kicks with no illegal activity.

You can bet Apple will continue this war further as more sites pop up, and Apple's attack wages on.

You could see it happeneing - but Apple has seriously dropped the ball with app development for the iphone.

The app store is chocked full of cr*p - and any decent programs are being removed or banned.

Jailbreak all the way for me with every firmware.

God yeah, why didn't I think of that before?? I used to have it Jail, er, broken (breaked?) but then restored it when the v2 firmware came out so I could use the App Store - and hand over more of my money to Apple. What a mug
