Been looking at a few places of my own, just looking for some info on morgages, where to look etc etc.. as i am new to all this and i will be going sole in a morgage to.

i looked at the mortgage guide on moneysaving expert and then called the company that funded the hard copies. London & Country.

I can say without doubt that they were excellent. Their fees policy is published and their approach was 100% spot on.

I bagged a deal for my tracker mortgage that was 0.09% above base rate, no legal fees, no valuation fees, no arrangment fees. total bargain. this was a couple of years ago. totally recommended. if you are interested i can ping you the name of the person i was dealt with.
