Air Powered bicycle

Why has nobody in this world invented a bicycle that runs on compressed air, running through a tesla turbine, which by the way spins at 15000 rpm. Why not connected that to the back wheel some how. That way you could fill it up with air at any petrol station and travel for free. I’m sure it can be done what does everybody think

I guess it would be dependent on efficiency, as Tesla's claim of 95% has not been tested fully, Size of the engine, and the consumption of air.

Might be that you need to carry around massive amounts of compressed air because it uses shit loads. Might be that it's too heavy to mount on a small frame, it could also be to do with the cost, a Tesla Turbine looks like a fairly complicated bit of kit.

It might be that, as it runs reputedly at 15,000 rpm, the gearing down is too large or fragile.

although this guy http://www.aircaraccess.com/aboutus.htm seems to be trying to use it in an aircar, so maybe I'm wrong.
