This is for anyone who wants to mod their Xbox 360 by flashing its DVD drive with hacked firmware, or anyone who has already had this done but wants to keep up to date with the releases of hacked firmware to take advantage of new features as they develop and minimise the chances of being banned from Xbox Live.

Boot disk files for flashing Samsung and BenQ drives (Custom made by myself, a slight variation on the files created by iPrep. Copy them to a bootable disk (preferably USB) to read firmware, copy key to new firmware and flash new firmware, and keep backups of everything along the way!)

Also you can get the Xbins EZ downloader which is a reliable client that connects to the Xbins channels and allows you to use them like FTP to download. Also hosts older versions of all apps and utils:

It has all the FW tools, FW files, HDD tools etc. As well as original Xbox stuff. This is for people who know what they are doing because there are a lot of utilities and FW files that are not as good as the ones Rap has posted above. But the ones he has posted are also hosted there

iPrep wont recognise the ms28 ixtreme 1.4 as valid and I have replaced the .def file anyone else having any probs?

There is a newer version of Firmware Toolbox available, v4.8, don't have a link other than on Xbins sorry

@ inspecta fwtoolbox is no good with samsungs mate,

ss30, Check your using a good version of iprep, some say the latest is a bit touchy so back to the one before, either try raps link above for it or use evilsatans link to xbins

Sorry, should have been clearer.... i was refering to the original post, Rap has posted a link to v4.6

And just for what it's worth i wouldn't touch iPrep to do anything, DosFlash is simple enough to use and much easier IMO
