This film was wierd - the trailer definately made it look better than it was and is also misleading with the str

This is no different to any drug/crime film (infact they nicked this from Universal Soldier amongst others) and I cant compare it to the game as I never played it, so I cant say if it was close to the story. It is a very dark film, it was constantly snowing for some reason. And also he was shot in one scene and then very shortly after, he was swimming to his escape...

There was only 1 slowmo kill and that was over an hour into the film.

The fit bird from Hitman was in it (even if only briefly) and she managed to get her kit off. Its the only plus of the film.

Interesting that people said that it was good to see a game convertion not being made by Uwe Boll and the like so as to raise the bar, I have to say that good old Uwe would have done a better job!

There is supposed to be another scene after the credits which is supposed to have some more meaning but I havent seen it yet.

Dont bother.

I thought the film was very slow and kept waiting for it to get better. I have played the game a little but not enough to comment if it was anything like the film. (It didn't ring many bells for me).

I too waited to see some slo-mo stuff, but the actual seen is poor. This was not a film i enjoyed and even fell asleep with about a quarter to go. I won't even bother watching the final quarter at a later date as i wouldn't have thought there would be anything in that which would change my view.

Girl does get her kit off and Max does what any man would do in that situation.

Watching this film was like giving birth to a elephant - painful.

The bullet-time scene was amazingly funny for all the wrong reasons and everyone in the cinema was laughing, that is if they stayed long enough to get to that part.


Don't even bother downloading this junk, not worth wasting the bandwidth.

This was awful.

I admit that I can't remember every facet of the game as it was a while ago that I played it....but apart from the fact that the dude was called 'Max Payne' and his family was killed, I'm not sure that the film had anything in common with the game at all.

And what on earth were those flying things?

watched this a while ago, very boring, story made very little sense and Walberg was bloody awful. Really disappointed as I love the games tone.
