Yeah have to say am a little disappointed myself. The kids love a bit of PS and there is bags of room for any subject matter.

i was trying to hdr a photo the other day, but i just can't get anything decent out of the software. I'm not at work next week so will try and come up with something

Nah, everyone always posts in the last couple of days.

Either they're waiting to see what others post, OR avoiding posting theirs which may cause someone to really push the boat out to beat it OR, they're lazy and everything happens in a panic in the last couple of days

I took a bunch of shots today and I'm planning on working on them for this months comp soon

Hi Greens,

Unfortunately your photo won't be allowed mate. it's WAAAY to big. That bit is easily remedied though, if you don't have any photo manipulation software, download Irfanview (It's free) and downsize it to 800 pixels wide on its longest side.


However, this month there is a specific theme to the comp and that is Processed.In other words, the photo needs to be processed in some way. I.e Orton effect, HDR, B/W conversion, altered to something it originally wasn't etc..

Actually, I'm wondering how much we'll get in this month as not everyone has access to manipulation software or actually knows any of the techniques.


I'm actually worrying a bit, I thought I had something from a trip out last week but nothing has stood out to me so I may take a gamble on something. Failing that, I'm gonna rush out either tonight or tomorrow to get something. Hardly had opportunity to look at my camera with the exception of my trip out last week.

Anyway, I'll get something submitted for sure

Ok, I've got my shot. Managed to get one from the stuff I shot last week. Wasn't sure I'd get what I wanted. I have a few little alterations I need to make and I'll submit later today.

Really gutted I've not had the chance to take the planned shot and doubt I'll have a chance to do anything this evening either. Nevermind.

The op was just a little hernia repair so nothing serious. All went well, a nice week relaxing on the couch with my wifey bell didn't hurt either
