Advice?

Guys,

I'm hoping someone can give me a hand.

I've decided on a tattoo I'd quite like, I've been thinking about it for a while but wasn't sure how to go about it, Recently I met a guy in the CzechRepublic who gave me a few ideas

It's basically an amalgamation of my family coat of arms, and the family badge.

Does anyone know of a decent photo/picture editor that I can use to construct the final picture that I can get cheap/free, as I'm currently away from home so can't steal Daddy's photoshop.

Alternately can I send someone the pics/images and can they stick them together for me, it's a fairly straightforward design, so I'm not asking for hours worth of work.

The general idea is to have the Shield at the bottom, with the crown/hawk on top centre, perhaps with a small scroll at the bottom with the family Motto on it (not sure about this bit yet)

Obviously the shield would be in proportion, my apologies for the size of the image.

the gimp is a free photoshop style app that should do this for you m8 although ive seen a machine in medowhall (sheffield) although im betting they have them elsewhere where you enter your name and it gives you a family coat of arms based on historical data and they are usually pretty good looking and would be easy to add the eagle/hawk to

saying that if it were me id also try putting the bird behind with the wings spread and the coat of arms on its chest with the bird wearing the crown and its feet holing the scroll with the family motto on (maybe ribbon rather than scroll depending on the lenght of the motto)
