BMW M3 Evolution 96-99 What are they like...

Hi...

I am considering a BMW M3 evolution...

I had a 200SX modded up to 280bhp a fews years and loved it but I kepted spending money to make it go faster and improve handling and braking etc...

I am wondering about the M3 evolution...whats the grin factor like ?

I take it they are pretty good as standard ?

Has anybody own one what are they like to live with...this would not be a daily drive more of a weekend toy

i dont have an m3 but a 328i in that model.
for that price you cant go wrong to be honest. elegant drive combined with a little bit of thrill, all m's come with an lsd aswel so you can fun with that especially on the track.
unlike your nissan theres not much you can do for modding to be honest and you wont see huge gains.

if you do decide to go for one, look out for the dual vanos units as these are a expensive problem, so prefeably would like it to be changed. plus regualr oil changes aswell.

for a 3.2 they are not too bad on petrol either if driven soft, and the 6th gear on the motorway helps.
