any way to check if the flash went ok

i was flashing my 59 hitachi drive with iextreme1.4 but a couple of times it would just hang on step one and i'd need to reboot the comp

one attempt tho it went ok and got to the bottom

but now i dont have any dual layer dvds to check it, is there any other way to tell?

also is it ok to reflash over the top of that firmware or would i need to put it back to the original and then put iextreme1.4 on again

rip firmware with firmwaretoolbox and it tells u what version it is

its recommended to do a full restore before you flash again.

If it went all the way through to a success message it should work mate. Did you use FW Toolbox to flash?

More of an observation than an instruction.

Put the drive back in the 360 and then try an original. Surely a bad flash won't boot anything??

it wasnt using firmware toolbox to flash, it was just the batch file

also original games work.

ill need to get some dual layers tomorrow
