PC Setup

Hey,

Right im going to build my next PC which will be used for the usual stuff like internet and email but along with with graphics, web design, video & photo editing work and the lastest video games :shades: oh and producing and burning DVD's.
I will not be watching any films or downloading anything on this PC cause I am going to build a media center / server for all that.

I want run:
2x 150gb raptor drives for operating system and programs [which im going to RAID]
1x 750gb or a 1tb for all the documents etc.

Can I have your advise is needed please

well my advice is to select a CPU and GFX card that you can afford then build the rest of the system around them as they are likely to be the most expensive parts, also I would not bother with raid for the slight increase in speed, you would prolly see more increased performance spending the money on a more powerful CPU or GFX. Boot or Seek times mean nothing in the real world but CPU and GFX power mean everything.
