It'd be pretty ace if anyone wants to let me use their account for the duration of a download. It'd be most appreciated and I'd remember you in the future when I get anything of interest. I'm quite eager to get on the beta.

That won't work mate, your account still won't have access to download it until it's allowed to. You have to download it from an account that's authorised to.

If sumone who has downloaded it lets me have their id, i then login with their account and download the beta.

Then i delete there account and it will still show on my HDD.

Then i give my ID to someone and the process repeats until every1 who wants it has the beta,

but it seems like billhouse and others who have it are "tight arses"

All you have to do is reset your PSN password after i have logged in with it

I'm pretty sure that's not the way it works. The whole reason you're doing this is because your account is *not* allowed to download the beta, yeah? Sony have already said that all accounts can login to Home, but not all accounts can download the installer.

Just because you've downloaded it onto your PS3 with someone elses account and been able to login to Home with your own account, does not mean yours can download the installer from your account.

Strange that as I had heard this beta was shareable just like all the downloadable games are ie. you can log onto a different machine with your account details and redownload the beta onto that console - also I think that is what Billhouse has done
