    anyways I bought GOW2 ( also 20% off) and looking at putting it on my hdd..

    is this the way to go or are there any negatives I should know about..

    some said that certain games end up running SLOWER from the hard drive, halo 3 was one of them

    ive found tho that the 2 games i put on the HD loaded MUCH MUUCH faster and were brilliant.

    best thing to do is just try, if it loads slower delete it, should be fine tho

    COD4/5 and Fable 2 run a lot faster from the HDD, so did GTA4.

    only on the old 20 gig drives i think, new 120 gig and 60s load it much faster, dont ask why cause i just dont know lol

    I found it to run dog slow online aswell as running from the hard drive. Could have been a lot of things, so my argument doesn't really have a leg to stand on.

    Does it mean you can buy game put on HDD and then trade it in the next day as will never need the disc again??

    afraid not mate as it still requests the disc in the drive. I presume for the purpose of checking your still an owner of the game
