help with bricked hitachi drive

got a 78fk drive thats bricked, im guessing it needs the tsop removed and programmed externally?
its a spare drive so the key isnt needed from it.
i can probably get the tsop removed, anyone able to help me reprogramming it?

I have a necessary hardware. if you can get the chip removed cleanly, I can read it or write to it for you, if its survived the removal process that is.
Last one I tried to remove had fkn epoxy underneath the chip that i just could not get off, I ended up snapping the chip in half trying to prise it off the board...i was most pissed off with it, given the time I had spent cleaning off the surrounding epoxy beforehand.
