wheres cheapest to buy a new 360?

My sons friends 360 has died and hes devastated - I told his mam I`d find the cheapest place to get a new 360 from - shes not bothered about any multi game packages as it`ll be getting flashed straight away no need for a hard drive either..

I`m sure I read somewhere that some shop was selling the arcade model for £99 or was that just a special offer?

That was Sainsburys on special offer, so no chance there. If you are lucky enough to find a woolies store still open and with a 360 in stock you will get them for half price!

Best normal price is usually http://www.shopto.net/, that's where I got mine.

Alternatively I might have a second hand one for sale, console only, pre-flashed to 1.4 (it's a hitachi, but if 1.5 is out for hit's i can update).

I dont think any of the woolies are open now and the last time I was in the Metro Centre the woolies there was basically like a scene from Dead Rising people were just about pulling the shelves off the wall to buy them - so I doubt there`d be any half price 360s tucked away!
