    Xbox 360 BenQ problem

Im having a mare so far this year

A friend used iprep1.01 v008.8 to dump key/rewrite/spoof firmware for Ben Q - all banks verified..
Now the 360 plays originals but backups that i have tested in abgx (endwar/Soldier of fortune) are coming up as insert game to play in xbox 360..

    any ideas please?

What drive is he spoofing from? Has he tried opening up his original FW in FWtoolbox, copying key, opening a BenQ ix1.5 into FWtoolbox, injecting his key into it, spoof patching to the right drive, then flashing that using DOSflash?

Sounds like it hasn't been flashed properly.

Probaly best idea is to use iPrep if your not sure what you are doing mate. I havn't used the latest one but if it is anything like v006 then you load the Benq ix1.5 file into it, select your VIA card and usb device, make bootable and prepare destination. Boot to USB and you should need to type dBen xxxxxx xxxxx that being your serial number. Follow the on screen prompts on when to power on/off. Once it reads the key it auto generates the hacked FW, then you reboot and instead of typing dBen type fBen.

As I say it has been a long time since I used iPrep. Alternatively you can email me your drive key and I will prep you a FW you can flash manually using DOSflash.

I used Iprep 8.5 the other day and it was very easy flashing a Samsung but the method will be the same as a benq. Do all what Evil said Run dben, reboot and run fben

If you want to do it the manual way follow this guide

Sounds like a bad key issue, rather than a spoofing issue......Not sure why you are spoofing though...are you spoofing a drive to a benq, or a benq to another drive.
