    Help Asus EEE 701

    Cheeky request really but..

Does anyone have the original restore dvd that come with the Asus EEE 701?

I have fucked with it so much but want to put it back to factory for my little boy to use but cant for love nor money find the restore dvd, cant find a download of it either, have tried torrents of it but they are seriously slow or no seeds (weeks!)

More than happy to cough a few quid for a copy if anyone can make or source one!

    Cheers guys

Why not stick Ubuntu on there instead?

I've got the 1000 model, but not sure if the DVD would work.
PM your address and I'll copy it for you, but I really would recommend going for an Ubuntu install.

Odd, I've been running it without any issues since I got mine (few months now) and I know Fear345 installed it on his daughters as well.

Will happily send you a copy of my restore, its called:

Linux Recovery DVD Rev.1.3 doesn't say its specific to the 1000 model.
