Did you take it like a man? Be careful with the healing, what cream are you going to use? There are loads of good creams\lotions in the US compared to the crap we get in the UK.

Im using Curel cream . Seems to be doing its job and is popular with the artists around here although i may have to go back in a couple of weeks for a little touch up - will see how it heals

ive just had a look through his pictures on myspace and gotta say hes done some nice pieces, its the first time i seen this thread, and i must say im impressed, you dont look a day over 300 lol nar seriously that looks like a well done piece, personally ive never heard of the stuff your using for aftercare but as tf says we have crap over here (i use savlon or soap and water lol)

Update:

Something happened to my arm on the 4th day an d it got all infected and swelled right up. Went VERY scabby and pussy and painful

Most of the scabs are now cleared and its made a mess of anywhere there was green ink. Whats weird is the cloak / legs are perfect as day one. The head is a mess - can barely see any face features

any advice TT ?

Same thing happened to my last colour piece. I washed it with warm water and patted dry. I then applied a thin layer of e45. It looked minging for another 2 weeks before healing perfectly. Dude, go back to your tattooist for him to take a look.

it sounds like youve had a reaction to the green ink but its a bit wierd it happening this long after it was done, is it totally healed now then?

the facial features are non existent atm tho. Hopefully it will sort.
