This was just a quick snap taken during our New Years Day meal but I quite liked the story it told. I'd have preferred the glass to have had a little wine left in but my wife is an alcoholic
Anyway, I call it "Longing"

Like the mood of it Neo..only fault I see which spoils it for me is the smudge marks around the top of the glass where your lasses lips have been but I know that couldnt be helped as it wasnt a staged shot.
Like the way your little one looks like hes staring at the glass as if to say fill it up
Good shot, great title, but a little bit too much DOF for my taste the bokeh is a little too overpowering with such a weak focal point on the main subject matter.

Nice pic mate
Have to agree a bit more detail coming through in the background would have been nice but it is a cool shot and the title does work well.
Now, given that you took it on the spur of the moment, it's a great shot. Had you staged it, I think it'd be a real cracker
lol... you're all being way too kind. It's a flawed shot, I can see that, however there is still something I like about it...
Cheers for the comments

Bokeh is hefty to say the least. Would have been better if the mullered Mrs had been the OOF subject but nice shot.
I like it especially as it is not staged but I am not sure that the two subjects work that well together.
like the shot m8. did u take it in colour. would have like to seen it in colour also m8.
If Neo has shot in RAW which I know he does, everything is in colour. Even if you set your camera to use B/W or one of those portrait/landscape/faithful modes, the RAW file is always in colour and always just the plain un-processed image
I learned this by deliberately setting the camera to b/w one day, took a shot in RAW, got it into Lightroom and it was in colour
