    Photos Painting by torchlight

As I haven't got all the fancy flashguns etc, etc, I decided to have a go of using a torch as my only source of light. The room was almost pitch black.

One of the results I have posted in the Jan photo comp, so I thought I better not duplicate it in here. There was a few that I liked, three of which are posted here, so no doubt I have picked the wrong one.

Anyway, I experimented with the camera set on "bulb" and various exposure times and some different white balances. And of course moving the torch around in different ways.

Exif info is still attached to images.

This was my first attempt at doing this and your comments or very welcome.

    Cheers,

    Allen.

P.S. This is a lot more fun than going out doors at this time of year.

This one is of a model Tiger tank.

Then I had to try some flowers of course. Here are two shots that I like.

Yup, I agree, although there is a better composition in there somewhere, the tank shot is excellent, great lighting.

That light did work well from that angle. I did one with the light from the front which was ok but not as pleasing as this one.
