Windows 7 Errors and Issues

Post all your errors and issues in here so we dont clutter the forum with errors etc..

1) Firefox (Not Responding) - This Happens Alot "No Problems with IE"
2) Windows Live Messenger Error "Proxy Error" - i'm not using a proxy

Im wondering if they've been fidiling with there code to slow FF down to try and make IE more popular, although that wouldnt go down too well in a court.

Thanks for that mate. I've been using IE since installing Win 7 and was going to install FF today. I won't bother now.

Ive tryed giving FF a high Priority but still the same. has anyone else tryed FF with problems or is it just me?

EDIT: Its pretty random it'll work fine for 10mins then not respond then respond after 20secs and be fine for 10 mins and so on ...

I've noticed a few webpages don't load up correctly, namely Alliance & Leicester bank accounts and yellow pages. A few of the rows seem to integrate in to one.

ive got no problems with them on FF for Yell and A+L (Online Banking Page is fine)

Thar said im having Flash Player issues with IE.Flash says im installed and IE says no your not.

try an older version of FF - ive heard that solves atm

running 64 bit windows 7, latest version of fire fox, no problems, no slow loading, all good

Downloaded FF3 and yellow pages etc is loading fine. Must be a problem with IE 8 beta

Anybody else finding FF not as good as IE in Win7? Having no specific issues with FF, and it was the only browser I used in XP, but it just doesn't seem as good right now. Am using the latest version.

For instance, the BBC site needs to be zoomed out from the default for it view correctly, doesn't seem to be as responsive either. While on the other hand can't say am having any issues with IE8.

Can't install the cunt

I can't get it installed,it goes through all the motions and reboots to setting up registry screen

Then I get a window appear

Windows could not finish configuring the system.To attempt to resume configuration,restart the computer.

I hit the OK button and it reboots but the same thing happens again.

I've tried several installs now on a freshly formated PC.

I seem to have my first compatibility issue when trying to install Nokia installer 7.1.

I'm running it as administrator but seems to hang half way through. Telling me something about cannot access some files and to log on as administrator....but I have!!!

Rightthe exe..... click properties....compatibility...change to vista.

I had similar issues with comodo firewall until Prezzy pointed me in the right direction.
