windows 7 boot problems

iv'e managed to get a hold of this version of windows 7 . Windows 7 beta 2in1 build 7000 UA
in the bios on the boot up screen i turn the boot up method to cd/dvd rom press F10 to save then restart but when it restarts it comes up with a error saying error code 3, is there somthing im missing. how do i install windows 7 any advise pls.

does it look like it's reading from the disk after it has counted the memory and gave you the drive stats? Are there any signs that it is booting from the DVD?

why did you chose this particular version? M$ were giving it away freely..

Why dont you download the official beta from MS?

Any patches including the mp3 one are automatically downloaded now!

And the workarounds for the watermark etc are in this forum also.

it trys booting from the dvd but then the code 3 error appears

I'm not really finding any similar references to error 3 with respect to win7..

does it say MBR Error 3 by any chance?

Do as you have done already,but try booting without the DVD in the drive.
Do you get the error code or does it say no bootable media or just go direct to Windows boot.
If yes then the drive should be OK.
Can you boot from an existing OS Disk as a test for the drive.
Can you check your Win 7 DVD in another machine.
Reburn the disk and try another disk.
Or Boot Windows and install from there.

Sounds like some kind of config problem.
