    Help Child Star Chart

I am trying to create a star chart for my 7 year old son who has ADHD and am hoping that the thought of a treat when he gets to the finish will help him learn more.

I have attached what I have done so far. (Completly Crap!) and am hoping that someone on here can help do one that looks better. (To be honest, anything you do will be better than this crap)

I have looked around the net and can't find anything close to what I am after.

He is into all of the usual stuff that 7 year old bys are into!

Any help will be much appreciated!

Liking the idea, thinking of something similar for my 6YO. Looking at your spreadsheet, I would have to say 90 squares is too many. If he got one star a day, it would take 3 months to get the final prize. or even 6 weeks just to get to halfway!

15-20 stars personally would be a good total which would mean a treat can come up in just 2-3 weeks with good progress and tbh, a trip out or some dedicated 1-2-1 time for a day every couple of weeks is not a massive nor costly commitment for any parent, yet makes a world of difference in your little ones eyes. Remeber the reward can be anything from a trip to a new toy or even a quick burger for him and a friend.

Also, have a look Here for some tips/ideas

    kash

The idea is that he gets a number of stars each day
    getting ready for school
3 or 4 starts at school (This is the big problem)
    eating dinner
    reading well each night
going to bed without any trouble

Each day, he should be getting 7-9 start so the 90 isn't so daughnting and he can see a lot of stars straight away.

I know the sons school uses the reainbow as a basis for the chart. so many stars equals a colored band or certificate. The aim is to complete the rainbow. No limit on how many stars per colour
