Canon 450D lenses

Hi Im new and looking to buy a couple of lenses for my new Canon 450D, it come with the kit lense and I am looking for a good wide angle lense and a goog zoom lense, any help would be great, or if your selling one even better

here are the models I have been looking at so far

Canon EF-S 55-250mm f4-5.6 IS Lens

Canon EF-S 10-22mm f3.5-4.5 USM Lens

Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 EX DC HSM Lens - Canon Fit

can you tell me if there are any good points or bad points to any of the above as they are quite expensive and I want to get it right first time

ps. im happy to look at other lenses and advice on them

I would post your questions in the Photography Section as I don't see many of them posting in here. As for lenses the world is your oyster. Wide Angles are many, The Canoon 10-22, Sigma 10-20, Tokina 12-24 and the Tokina 11-16. There is an arrticle in Practical Photography this month on wide angles with some reviews though the new one might be out now. People seem to like the 55-250 as well as it comes with IS and seems to be a quality item.

As I say post in the right place and more folk will come along to answer your questions.

Might be interested in selling my Canon 10-22, only a few months old and in mint condition, hardly used. I'm after a Canon EF 16-35mm f2.8 L so won't need it.
