    Default MPG Tracker

Just found this site yesterday, it's great for tracking your fuel consumption.
    http://www.fuelly.com

I've been tracking my fuel usage in a spreadsheet for ages, which I was able to import so the last 12 months usage is up there now.

    Here's my car :

OK, it might be a bit nerdy but I think it's useful. Ideally I'm going to try fluctuating between V-Power and standard unleaded a month at a time, to see what benefit (cost per mile, MPG etc) there is against each other.
Ooh, ooh, ooh, the funky gibbon.

Cheers dude. Will give it a bash. See what my 318ti is costing me (seeing as fuel gauge is broken)

Nice one, i've always wondered what MPG i'm getting and I always stop recording it after a month or so. I too would like to know the dif between V Power and 95 ron. My car should run better on 97 but i've not really noticed the difference.

They also have a mobile version so if you had a smart phone or PDA you can post your fuel ups remotely.

If you use it though, don't forget to set it to Imperial gallons from US gallons. It was showing my average as 25MPG before I realised!

I've set my location as UK so its showing as UK MPG like yours does so i'm assuming thats OK? Its a little confusing though but I got there in the end. How do you log yours? I've set it so I just put in how many miles i've done and how many litres I put in. I used to have an app on the iPhone that did the same thing but that was in USG so not much use lol

When I first started on it even though my location was set to UK, it was showing US gallons. Just needed to click UK on the top left corner.
The first couple I did manually, miles travelled, litres of fuel and cost. The rest I just imported from my spreadsheet. All the entries on mine are historical from the spreadsheet, I've not needed to fill up since signing up this week.
    I'm gonna fill uptomorrow I think, I reckon I'll get about 33MPG.
Oh and I've added you, Ubergaz and Ant3b as friends on it so I can see how uneconomical my car is in comparison!
