    Help Stovies

Looking for best and easiest way to make stovies. My father used to make great stovies, I don't have the foggiest idea how to do them.

    Simple way:

Alternate layer of onions, corned beef and potatoes all the way to the top of a large pot. Half fill with mixed gravy granules and bring to a simmer. Simmer until the potatoes are ready and then add just gravy granules to thicken. Job done. Some people use diced square sausage and some use minced lamb. I'm not sure about the minced lamb though as it was originally meant to be a cheap recipe.

My mum puts a dash of worcester sauce in hers. Sometimes I also put carrots in mine.
I understand and accept that some people hold opinions that are different to my own. Living in a free and democratic society, I fully embrace and respect their right to be wrong.
