Firmware updates killed my N73 - ME

Ok guys,

I'm searching for a little bit of help.

This evening whilst bored and pissed off with my N73ME turning off randomly I read that the firmware may need updating.

I started and all appeared fine - left the phone on the side and after a few mins I heard what could only be described as the USB cable being re-connected and the time going up for when a the firmware would be complete.

After a while it said it had been disconnected - Fuck!!!! Don’t ask how - I wasn’t anywhere near it. Now I can’t get the phone back on - I’ve tried taking out the battery and cable etc - along with reconnecting the charger etc.

Still no joy.

Is there anyone who knows away to revive my phone?

Is the battery fully charged ???

Its usual for it to connect and disconnect when updating but you must not use the handset or press buttons whilst updating, also did you have bluetooth on this may have caused it to disconnect at wrong time.

if you want to send it in, i'll sort it out for you

make sure you dont try to flash it again using another tool, downgrading will kill the phone.

Hi,

Judging by your questioning i may have made a school boy error.

Bluetooth was on.

Phone initially wasnt powered by the charger.

Although the phone was fully charged and was turning off randomly before hand - so it come as no suprise when it did it half way through, but i knew when i heard that dreaded sound that it was a gonna.

Where do i send it 'Moblieman' - ooooooh you sound like a superhero.

And how much is this going to hit my pocket?!?!
