Default GTA IV: TLATD Cheap Points and Questions

    1600 M$ points here for £13.49, http://www.shopto.net/XBOX%20360/GAM...%20Damned.html

Handy for those that just want 1600 points and nothing else, free next day delivery as well.

Now I've been routing round t'internet and I can't find if you can use the new vehicles, weapons and tracks in Nico's half of the game, anyone here able to confirm or deny?

It's not quite a dire 'new costume' type offering though, is it?

It better not be Fable size as that was complete crap, Fallout 3 was well worth the money so we'll see if it's con or value for money.

tbh i think that 13.50 is a massive kick at the customer who has already paid 40 quid out on this game, that makes this over a 50 quid game, never ever ever is it worth that sort of cash

I dont get what your all getting so worked up over? Its £13 for a few extra hours of gameplay.

PC gamers have been paying and playing with expansion packs for years, take the "Sims" series for example - Pets/Holiday/Downtown/House Party/Pets/Living it Large.

Its ultimately the same game but giving you more options... you dont hear people moaning then, its a welcome addition.

Warcraft another prime example of expansion pack glory.

I think some of you just like nothing more than a good bitch.

sorry fella but i think your wrong, pc gamers have never and will never pay 40 or 50 pound a game.
console owners do, so for dlc on consoles to be priced the same as addon packs for pc gamers IS a kick at the console player

PC gamers wont pay 40 or 50 quid for a game? Course you dont.

You may pay a smaller initial fee... say 20/25/30 quid - but your get raped in the arse with all the expansions and adds on and lets not get started on "monthly charges" on games like warcraft and in game credits / tokens and other stuff to buy in game items.

Ok im not right in every game case, but look at the biggest and most marketable PC games and the money factor is staring you in the face.

Show me im wrong? Again, i'll pick on The Sims as an example - not even the latest one, the previous Sims 2 Version.

    At Todays prices;

    The Sims 2 - £23.99
The Sims 2: Apartment Life (Expansion Pack) - £14.99
The Sims 2: Mansion & Garden Stuff (Expansion Pack) - £7.99
The Sims 2: Pets (Expansion Pack)- £12.99
The Sims 2: Teen Style Stuff (Expansion Pack) - £6.99
The Sims 2: University (Expansion Pack) - £14.99
The Sims 2: Nightlife (Expansion Pack) - £14.99
The Sims 2: Ikea Home Stuff (Expansion Pack) - £7.99
The Sims 2: Open For Business (Expansion Pack) - £14.99
    The Sims 2: H&M Fashion Stuff (Sims 2 H & M Expansion Pack) - £7.99
The Sims 2: Seasons (Expansion Pack) - £14.99
The Sims 2: Bon Voyage (Expansion Pack) - £14.99
The Sims 2: Kitchen & Bathroom Interior Design Stuff (Expansion Pack) - £7.99
The Sims 2: Glamour Life Stuff (Expansion Pack) - £6.99
The Sims 2: Christmas Party Pack - £6.00
    The Sims 2: Family Fun Stuff (Add-On) - £4.50
The Sims 2: Free Time (Expansion Pack) - £14.99
The Sims 2: Celebration Stuff (Expansion pack) - £4.99
The Sims 2: Festive Holiday Stuff (Expansion Pack) - £5.49

    = £208.83

Its fucking laughable. Over 200 quid for the "complete experience". Yet here we are saying that 12-22 hours of additional and 'different' gameplay is a kick at £13?.

ive never slagged off people for what they pay for. God knows i've got some expensive and interesting vices myself, but I know i'd never fork out for dlc personally. Dont know why I would just feel like i was being dicked.

And don't get me started on the world of warcraft monthly fleecing

Well I got 1000 points free with my copy of GTAIV so guess thats only 600 points for me then, which isn't that bad... meh.
Just depends on how much content there is really. I didn't play much of the GTA IV multiplayer so if this is just lots of new multiplayer stuff and a short campaign then its probably not worth it for most people. I already feel I wasted too much time helping my stupid twat of a cousin out for him to then
    Spoiler:
    get shot at the end...

My only grudge against this content like all xbox live content is they can artificially control the price making it expensive for too long and they do not give you any refunds or allow you to sell it on to someone else.
I guess most pc games are getting like this tho with online registration all the time on most things.
