      Default Canon EOS 300D DSLR

      I know a bloke, whom i dont really get on with, is selling the canon EOS 300D camera with a 18-55 IS lens.

      I currently have a fuii finepix S6500FD, this has full manual mode and a 18-300 fixed fujinon lens.

      Firstly, is the old Canon DSLR better than my newer but non DSLR fuji ??

      Secondly, how much can i expect to pay for the canon, second hand of course, i dont want the guy to rip me off, as i'm not sure about the prices. Also, is there anything i need to know about canon cameras, like common faults or known issues

      I had one for a while and it was my first DSLR. Wasn't overly impressed with it and it all depends on the price he wants for it really.

      I've got one myself mate.. ok as an entry into dslr but if I was thinking of selling it, £150 would be a fair asking imo.

      Agree with the 150. I sold mine for 200 with a bag and no lens Xmas 07.
