sky+ problem

got sky in december for the the first time so im a bit of a noob,for the past few days ive had to reboot the sky+ box in the morning or it wont play/record.if i try to set a recording without restarting it i lose all channels,so what do i do ? phone them or email or is there an easy fix for this ?

Try updated the software

Switch off at the wall Hold the back up button down and switch back on
All lights should come on then get on screen message software being updated.

But as Nibbs says could be a hard drive problem and this might not work.

Prob best to phone them up so you they tell you what to do if its working the now.

I worked for a sub of sky for a year and the quality of boxes is shocking, some dont even light up new out of the box. They will replace it but tell them you dont want a refurb !

had a mates sky + box do this the last few days as well, hard drive was fucked, he got them out, got given a new one
