    Default New York

Just a few of my recent holiday. Took hundreds, happy with a good few of them.

    The Lady in the Bay:

Central Park from the top of The Rockefeller Building: (a fave)

The Empire State Building from TOTR again:

    Grand Central Station:

    Brooklyn Bridge from the water:

    Rockefeller Plaza:

An attempt to be arty with the subway:

Top of the Rock @ night:

    Panoramic shot of lower Manhattan:

    Night panoramic shot:

    A squirrel in Central Park:

Rockefeller Centre Ice Rink and Prometheus:

Mean and moody in the misty rain:

    Times Square:

    The Wall Street Bull:

The globe in Battery Park from 9/11:

I know these are a bit small, its how Photobucket upped them, if anyone wants to see a particular one in more detail just ask, and I'll sort it. The panoramic ones are really small so will re-up them now.

Aye good set of photos Russ. I like the underground train shot and the misty rain one too. If I was to attempt an underground train shot here in Liverpool I'd either have my kit stolen, be arrested by the police or be pushed onto the tracks.. pff!!

I didn't i'm afraid Pete, we were besieged with chinese people trying to flog us bent handbags, watches and jewellery so much that the camera stayed firmly in pocket where it was safe!

Thanks all for your comments, especially Peter, DP and Neo, its a big compliment that a complete amateur like me can get good comments from guys like you as I'm a big fan of what you guys do on here. Cheers!

I like how its all blurred yet you are still able to make out the passenger inside. Gives it more depth imo.

An iconic set Russ. Good scene setting, and clearly an enjoyable trip.
