New digital scanner

I just bought myself a new Uniden USC230-E scanner. I am just a starter and am interested in listening to the planes flying in and out of Belfast City airport. I live about a mile away from the airport so I shouldn't have any problem in tuning into them. I can't get to grips with how to use this scanner even though I have read over the instructions varios times. I'm just wondering if anyone out there can give me a few tips on getting started with the scanner.

do they moderate every post over there mate or only for a short while after you sign up?

Sorry for the seriously late reply lol only until they see your not there to cause problems, there was alot of bother with idiots before christmas and we had to change it so we could demote certain people if they started playing up.
