This is my red rose again, and instead of a full on macro such as I posted earlier in the macro thread: http://www.digital-forums.com/showth...highlight=rose (as well as elsewhere, but I like to get different opinions!)
Once again, a long exposure and multiple flash used, but this edit is from higher up and includes some of the foliage as a background arena.
The thing I found was that the flash used a few times in a darkened room really helps to pump up the colour without having to resort to manipulating the saturation slider much.
The main problem, with flowers (bought) out of season is that it hard to find one at its best (moving in really close gets past that) and that became self-evident here as you can see some deterioration at the edge of some of the petals. I know some careful cloning could sort that out mind you.
C&C as always.
