Canon 28-105mm Macro Zoom Lens

This Canon Ultrasonic f3.5-4.5 28_105mm zoom lens is designed for Canon EOS/Rebel AF film or digital SLR cameras. On a Canon digital SLR with the smaller sensor this lens behaves like a 42-160mm lens. This is the more desirable Made in Japan version which features a proper metal lens mount - not a cheap plastic mount and has the macro facility. It is in very good, lightly used condition with just a few signs of normal use - no scratches, fungus, oil on the blades, or any other problem I can see. Comes with both caps, but no hood. Not for me as I have the range covered but I was looking for one of these a while back and the Japanese one is the way to go. Would recommend this lens to anyone as they have had great writeups.

Aye, it will work on any Canon as it is EF and not EF-S mount.

Lens received Just needs a little clean (any suggestions on what to clean the lens with?) and a filter required (again can anyone recommend a filter?)

i use a skylight 1b filter on mine. and i get cleaning fluid from the camera shop...polaroid stuff that comes with a cloth.

As above Goldy. Get a lens cloth, cheap from an optician and just polish till you can't see streaks on the glass.

Sorry should add as far as filters go you get what you pay for. You could buy a Green Hoya and get potential CA and other aberrations or you could buy a B+W and have no issues at all. One costs a tenner and the other costs 50 quid. What size filter does it require?

Aye I have a spudz as well, like the way they fold in on themselves to keep clean.
