outlook express help

Aright all,

was looking for a bit of info.

Got a mate who seems to have corrupted his email's and needs them back.

he is using outlook express (Don't know why)

what is the best "free" recovery tool you guys recommend to repair his dbx file ?

corrupted emails? as in deleted them and wants them back? or changed some settings etc and they corrupted i.e attatchments?

i think its a corrupt dbx file but i am not sure i've not looked at it yet , just wanted to have a dbx repair tool of some sort, but they all seem to be try before have to buy.
