screen saver...

Hi,

I am looking for a new screen saver for my work computer, but any site that has the word screen saver on it is blocked has anyone got one they can load up on here ...it must be suitable for an office....

you might want to think twice, maybe they have blocked the term screensaver for a reason.. this kind of thing might land you in hot water. my advice, if your not part of the tech dept. only use pc for work purposes and don't fook about with it..

nah i can have programs on my computer .... its only because a secretary loaded one on a few years ago and something to do with the resalution crashed her whole computer (dunno how) but had to completely reset her computer and reload windown ha ha ha

The IT department don't block things because they want to annoy you, they block things to stop the twats from making their life harder than it already is.

In fact, you have already demonstrated a somewhat limited knowledge of what you are about to embark on by virtue of your original request.
If you really wanted one, you'd simply download one at home, pop it on to a USB stick or CD, take it in to work yourself, and then hope that it is actually a screensaver you are installing and not a malicious script.

you can always try http://www.3planesoft.com/

they have some of the best screensavers around, a couple of them are free however you will have to pay out a couple of quid if you want some of the more special ones (well worth it tho)

however as i work in an IT Department i would suggest that you are careful with installing additional stuff as i myself get annoyed if i have told one of our staff members not to do something and they do it anyway!
