360 Currently away for repair

Hi All,

Just looked at my current status on the 360 I sent back and I have noticed that the serial number on my account has changed.

My thoughts are that they have swapped the box for a different 1.

I thought that had now stopped? Any Ideas?

From the serial numbers, the 1 I sent back began with 20, my cousins which I sent back a month or so ago was newer and began with 50, the one now coming back to me begins with 90.

Does it look like I am in for a newish refurb console? or am I dreaming.

Got a 70 here which is mid 2008.

So 90 your looking late 2008/early 2009.

I had 3 of these replacements, all of em started with a 9, late 2008 & jan 09 manufacture dates with no hdmi, spanking consoles though by the look of em

Just about to send mine back for the second time. Last time I got the same console back. Begins with 52 and is a 2006 MC heres hoping I get a newer one.

I got one sent back from the repair centre and they put a note in with it saying they had changed both board and dvd drive and that they had automatically updated my live account with the new serial and when I checked on xbox.com they had !

are they just replacing consoles now then instead of repairing?

Mine wasn't even that broke just dvd tray was fucked and I bought it as 3rl error which am not sure it even had.

I know someone that sent their's away because it was getting close to the 3rl warranty being up

Just had my 3 red lighter changed for a 90 serial number - on its way back.

was a non hdmi model.... would love it to come back with hdmi

What was the serial number differences?

I have one due to be delivered today. It was a hdmi model, they better not have swapped it for non hdmi!

Got the 360, no HDMI but the manufacturer date is 14/01/09. Better than 16/08/06.
