Default Re: Bike Lessons and Test Advice

Just a quick update, today was my DAS 3 lesson and boy am i enjoying this now. At the beginning i was a bit wary about u turns but since day 1 i have been doing quite good on all aspects.

Today was my MOCK test, the intructor ran its through the same as the examiner would. At the end he said i would have passed but picked up around 4 minors.

Two issues i need to concentrate on are: pulling up in traffic to close to the car in front and taking my time around small back roads (back roads are like left, right, left, right, left within a few yards of each other so its just fitting in a mirror, signal maneouve before the next junction but getting there).

One more lesson tomorrow, followed by the test Wednesday, nerves are kicking in but i know i can do it, its just if the nerves get the better of me!!

Update Wednesday after the test... GULP!

Just found out i am first thing for test, as in 8am!!! Good thing it will be out of the way without waiting all day but bad that i thought i could squeeze another lesson in before the test although the instructors have said to get in 7am so will probably get an hour and then off to test centre.

To say i am shitting myself is an under statement lol

Don't worry, the longer you are sitting in traffic, the better it is as the test only lasts about 35-40 minutes.

Good luck, hope you do it.

When you are doing it you'll be shocked at how quick the time goes and it only seems like 15-20 mins.

    Enjoy yourself mate.
