Actually, not half bad cocker. The chocolate is very well controlled and the rose is very tidy.

That chocolate one is excellent Tony. Dare I say a superb candidate for a advertisement and I mean that as a compliment (I always worry about saying someone's shot is very advertisment style or Ikea style.. heh).

I personally think Cadburys would snap that image up or no doubt steal it.

The rose is a rose in my book, flower togging is not my bag but it is well executed with great lighting control with crisp dark shadows. Nice shot.

Love the chocolate shot though, nice use of dead space, spot on composition and again controlled lighting. Only thing I would say is maybe the white is a little off, on my monitor is slightly different to the background of the forum page. Only a marginal hint of yellow in it. But it is a great shot, done for client or personal??

My only comments on the choc would be to crop it just a fraction more, not a huge amount though and i'd have brushed off the little flecks from the top of the bar but it's a great image.

Nothing to say about the rose, nigh on perfect imo.

It's not your monitor, the white is slightly off. I didn't think it needed to be brilliant white against the chocolate but I'll see if it works better.
It's a personal shot but part of a lighting test for a commercial product shoot next week.
