V3 export from sim help needed
Ive got a Moto v3 that I used for work that is now being retired, I cant for the life of me find the phone tools disc I had.
What I need to do is get the contacts of the sim in the phone and transfer them to the new work phone which is a Tmobile N79 .
When i put the o2 sim into the t mob phone it just says invalid sim so i cant get the info off that way.
Is there any other way I can do it ?

Other than using Phone Tools (or any of the other generic software out there), the only other way is going to be to buy a SIM card reader.
I have Moto Phone Tools here if you want a copy though (20MB), and it's fully updatable.

you dont happen to want a V3 as a spare then?, its in decent nick and will be of no use to me when I get the sim stuff transferred you can have it for nowt

Stick it on my ftp folks, that was the reason I originally set it up!
If at first you don't succeed.....redefine success. . . .

magic just dl it
when I get halfway through setup it pops up asking me to insert a disc for this file
C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\My Received Files\Addons\Inf\Generic_Serial_Driver\MotoMdm.inf
I cant proceed without it , dont know why i need a serial driver as its usb but do you have this at all ?
