Pace box Err4

What does this mean? As iv'e just had a phone call off a friend saying that their box is displaying this error msg on front ERR4

if its a very early pace box, the amtel simm might of gone.

unplug it, pop the case and wriggle the amtel simm - sometimes its just a dirty connector

I'll be getting the box dropped off 2mora so i can have a look inside and give that a try

error 4 is also sometimes caused by no platform found after software download. you could try to force an update. hold power button whilst applying power then when it says okay push fav, interactive, tv guide and tv buttons in that order should see 1234 press ok and that should force update.
you will then need to reset the net id
