Default CREATIVE Gigaworks G550 Speakers system

I've been given the above system to sell for my mates mum.Its Brand new and never been out of the box.She opened it up took one look at it and said its too difficult for her.
Its a 5.1 THX certified system which is wireless and from what i've read supposed to be pretty good.
    The cheapest i've seen it is £202 + P&P
She paid £289 for it but would accept £150
Oh collection fron Derby only lads and lasses as well as its bloody heavy for the postie

Just a tip, if it's really heavy, try http://www.parcel2go.com/ ... I sold my Wii, With Wii Fit plus a load of extras (and extras ) to a member last year. 2 boxes full, massively heavy and it only cost about £15 which was pick up and drop off within 48 hours (DHL)! It turned up in less than 24 to the member who bought it.

You can do a free quote on their website. I dare say there are other alternatives but worth a try, you may get more people interested then as no fecker wants to drive to Derby lol

I was going to buy these from you mate, but to warn other DF members, there appears to be a common fault with these, taken from Amazon comments:

I purchased these expensive high quality speakers not knowing that there is a common fault with them. After a couple of weeks they will start to turn off intermittently, until eventually you won't be able to switch them on at all. Also if you have a wireless network the signal from the speakers will knock out you wireless signal from the modem. All of what I have said can be verified by going on to the Creative forum. Creative do offer an RMA service where you have to pay for the item to be shipped back to them in order for your problem to be rectified.

My advice is do not buy these speakers they are over priced and there is a very good chance you will encounter problems with them.

Sorry dude, but felt it best to warn others.

Sorry bud, this may not effect these particular ones but I thought it was worth letting all know.
