We're through, thats the main thing. Won't be easy against Arsenal, will probably be two very tight games, but at least we are there, thats the main thing. We've mounted a very good defence of our title

Yeah I was really surprised that Porto didn't have a good go at us but hey that's football.

I think thats the third time this season you've said a team were piss poor against us

Honestly? I think United played an infinitely better game last night than we've seen from them in ages. Maybe finally having three experienced defenders playing in their correct positions helped, I don't know, but it looked to me like a few players are getting their form back at long last. Rio and Vida were brilliant in defence, limiting Porto to snap shots and distance efforts that went very wide. Anderson also looks like he is fit again and playing somewhere near his best form. And, most importantly, Ronaldo is beginning to look like he has his appetite - if not his full form - back. Still concerned about Carrick, he seems well off the pace, but its easier to carry 1 player than half a dozen So honestly, I think we totally stifled a team who we flattered at OT in the first place. Everyone said this should be an easy tie, it WAS the easiest tie of the round on paper, we just made things way too difficult at OT.

Not often I say this but I think Andy Gray summed it up well on Sky. 2 weeks ago you saw Porto playing to their higest level while United were far from it. Last night I hink we upped a gear and they returned to form. I wouldn't say they were piss poor but I think last week we made them look better than they are. I was quite pessimistic last night given how we have been recently but am slightly reassured for the run in now.

Bring on the Arse in the semi (that sounds all wrong )

last night was a result for utd but it was a poor performance by both sides. As a neutral the game was very scrappy and boring. The goal was amazing though but that was the only A+++ action in 90 minutes. Im sure the semi will be a better tie.

I wouldnt like to call the final it could be any of the four as all teams deserve to be there. Lot of people saying barca but Chelsea have shown they can do the business over tough opposition.

I cant see past arsholes at this moment in time.

They will be resting players in the prem because they are certain to get 4th now.

If we did get through id hate to face chelsea again.

The way football is you could see john terry scoring a pen to win it for them

I wouldn't use that as a indication you've returned to form i thought you did what you needed to do but i thought Porto offered nothing at all in the final third. If anything your defence looked a bit shaky and caused problems for themselves.

Barca in my eyes have been overhyped for too long... Yeah they beat Bayern 4-0 but that's just a fluke win ( same as the man u v liverpool score ). They only managed a 1-1 draw on tuesday so for me, chelsea can take them apart, Barca just cannot defend for shit..

Last nights game was a "get the job done" match and thats what we did..

    Bring on Arsenal!!!

Everyone was harping on about Barcelona last year too, and I don't remember them in the final. Who was it who beat them now. Hmmmm. Oh yes, a great strike from Scholes in the home leg won the match, they didn't score a goal home or away

(admittedly I think Messi is fitter this year than when he played us last year, so we shall see eh!)

Hence my careful use of the words "slightly reassured"
