    Default Van hire

Can anyone reccomend a cheap van hire company in the Wigan/Bolton area?
I need to dispose of a 3 piece suite and collect another one in a couple of weeks, so I'd need a Transit sized van or bigger. Would prefer if they did half day rates too.
    Cheers.

Offer it on something like freecycle and have it removed for free!

have a look at ldv maxus van hire (assuming they are still about) - rented a van for the saturday for 45 quid, picked it up on fri nite when they closed and cos they were closed on sunday could drop it monday morning. not bad at all.

Also, if you are just getting rid of a couple of big bits, ring the council and arrange a bulk waste disposal. You can do it online aswel, nd they'l just take it from the front of ur house on an agreed date for free.

I used these for a house move and they were £12 cheaper than the next hirer. turns out I got the van from the same place but through easyvan so, the same van cheaper!

Your looking at about £35-40 for a day in a transit is average when I looked about the other month.
Salford Van hire were £35 for a day
A place round the corner from me is £39 http://www.tw.flyer.co.uk/
And easy were £33 and are based in Lostock its actually Ember Lathom who charge a lot more than through easy.
National in Bolton were about £40
Thrifty were also £40 and pick up was in Trafford park
Enterprise were reasonable at £38 and they will pick you up and drop you off.

I went with the local place as I walked up the street no messing with people giveing me a lift to pick it up made things simple.
