for spread betting igindex is the way to go, however "experts" frown against spread betting as the companies can manipulate the spreads in their favour and they don't reflect the market acurately.

CFD's are better really, tighter spreads, better prices.

The only downside is capital Gains Tax.

Fincher - for long term Barclays, RBS and Lloyds still look like bargains. People will look back in years to come and wish that they invested in this climate (dyor, imo).

    shareprice.co.uk or advfn.com

Both have to register - but both are live.

I pay for the advfn service. Think it is £12 a month. This way the live feed doesn't time out.

I'm looking with regrets now that I do not have the capital at the moment to invest in RBS and Lloyds as I feel the massive profit boat has sailed from Barclays for the time being (It'll still go up mind).
