    Default Anyone on o2 broadband?

Does anyone use o2 broadband? How do you find it? Is it reliable?

I've currently got 2 connections on be pro, however at one of the addresses I don't use it as much anymore however I would still like it fast for when I do use it, was looking at the o2 deal with 3 months free and quidco, would work out at about £20 for the year which is quiet good, just need to know how reliable the service is.
Still going to keep be at my main address.

    Thanks for any advice.

I went to O2 from be, speeds were spot on but I got throttled down to 2mb at peak time after 3 weeks of heavy testing and was back to be like a shot, but if your not going to use it too much it'll be fine imo

no connection problems at all mate, apart from my download dropping to exactly 2mb at peak, it would start a news file at full speed then seconds later it was stuck @ 2mb If your not downloading much I would say go for it, I really hammered them from day 1 to test if they throttled as I could cancel in the first month free

I've been with them since last June.
Other than a small issue around December that resulted in me moving up to the Pro package (£12 a month as I'm an O2 customer and got in before the price hike), it's been spot on.
If you go for the Pro package now, it will cost you £17 a month if you have an O2 mobile, or £22 if you don't.

I get 17Mbit downstream (which surprised even O2 themselves given my line length)), and 1.4Mbit upstream....and I get that ALL the time (the Pro customers do get preference when the bandwidth gets tight, as well as their own dedicated tech support line number).
I'm a serial downloader (so much porn, so little time), and not even so much as a murmer from them about the bandwidth I'm spanking.

The supplied router (Thomson Wireless N) is a bit cack from a configuration point of view to say the least, although it's been dumbed down just to stop the noobs from fucking things up.
You can use your own router if you want, they don't give a toss.

All in all, I can't really fault them mate.
